Our Mission
The mission of the Society is to equip public health institutions with safe perioperative care. In addition, we intend to provide training and retraining of the health care work force to facilitate safer perioperative care by championing evidence-based practice.
Our Vision
To be the leading advocate and facilitator of transformative perioperative care in Nigeria, fostering a healthcare landscape where evidence-based practices are seamlessly integrated, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centred surgical experiences.

- Reduction of Perioperative Fasting
- Improve Surgical pain management through the use of pre-emptive multimodal Anti-inflammatory Analgesics
- Encourage the use of Regional Anaesthesia as an integral component of Anaesthesia Techniques and pain management

Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) Society Nigeria, is a non-profit medical organization that was established by a team of physicians Anaesthetists during the All African Anaesthetists Conference at Kigali Rwanda in 2022.
